About Us

Karin, a.k.a. The Faerie Princess, is the Proprietress. Karin is an experienced costumer, who has worked on numerous movies, commercials and Broadway shows. The possibilities are really only limited to your imagination (and budget...). Ian, a.k.a. The Gnome, is an experienced technologist and project manager. (Ian is currently a Legislative Fellow for the New York State Senate. His resume can be viewed here.) We believe that creative and thoughtful fun is a lifelong pursuit. Kids who play games develop their intellect and problem solving skills, as well as their attention span. Adults who play games are intellectually challenged to a greater degree than their work provides, keeping their minds sharp and active. A board game night reconnects people. Games provide a social setting where you can interact with those important to you - compare this to a DVD, where everyone sits silently watching someone else's life; or a worse, a video game, where players completely isolate themselves from their family and friends. All of Us are responsible for building a better society, where community members forge interconnected bonds that make us responsible for each other. Meet your neighbors.
